Birch Syrup 100% Pure
If you have never tried birch syrup before, you are in for a real treat, but don't expect it to taste anything like maple syrup or you'll be disappointed. This syrup was made here in northern WI. We describe the taste as being a cross between sour apples (giving it a tangy flavor) and molasses. We like to use it as a molasses substitute, in pecan pies, and over chocolate ice cream. We have also been told that it is excellent in mixed drinks.
