Plant Stand-Up
An Evening of Botany and Comedy
with Alexis Nelson and Sam Thayer
It’s like a plant walk, except there are no plants because it’s winter,
and we are inside, and we don’t go anywhere, and you sit down the whole time.
But at least two of us will stand up!
Come for stories, songs, and stand-up comedy with a focus on wild edibles (probably).
Who would have thought foraging could be so funny?
When: Saturday, March 9, 6:30-8;00 (PM)
(but come a bit early and hopefully stay late)
Because foragers love gathering with foragers.
Meet and greet, or get a book signed by one of our special guests.
This is a no-alcohol event, so you will have to get drunk before coming. (Just kidding! Don’t.) No food or drink is allowed in the auditorium, but plant questions are! Limited refreshments (hot apple cider and tea) will be offered in the hallway just outside the door—that way you will have to go pee and miss the good parts.
($5 per ticket will be donated to the Nature Conservancy)
